Ebony Macassar Charlotte Glass Interior Door
This interior glass door is reminiscent of the office doors of the mid-century that would have the employee's name decaled on the door, only the strikingly beautiful wood elevates it to something fresh and modern.
The wood is Ebony Macassar, a relatively rare hardwood found in the tropics of Indonesia. Often used for instruments, this wood is distinguished by its delicious coloring, a rich blend of caramel, dark chocolate and licorice.
In this design, the glass pane covers just over half the door, while the remainder features a veneer with a horizontal grain. This door will allow plenty of light into the room, while maintaining a nice sound barrier between rooms.
