Wenge Walnut Transom Interior Door

This interior transom door presents a worldly vibe, with its two-tone play of wenge and walnut, two woods from opposite sides of the Earth. The darker brown is wenge, a hardwood from Africa known for its exotic grain, while the slightly lighter colored wood is walnut, a traditional hardwood found in the forests of North America. Above the door is a large transom glass window that allows a little bit of light in while maintaining a sense of privacy inside. The mix of woods on this interior door design, plus the modern design, make it fitting for a living space with multicultural artwork on display, or one that celebrates a variety of woods and textures in furniture and flooring.
